live by our own free will."

The foundation takes its name and inspiration from two family members who shaped Fr3deR1cK's commitment to social justice, filmmaking as a medium for good, and his desire to use story to keep hope alive.
Frederick's beloved grandmother, Jaunita Jones, and his favorite uncle, Gerald Jones, both inspired young people as teachers in the public school systems in Chicago and Los Angeles.
He learned the power of sharing stories from them. Fr3deR1cK believes that if we share our stories well, we have a better chance of fostering understanding across cultural and political divides. And that telling these stories and listening to these stories gives us hope.
